Used for narrow slit widths requiring clean edges and close tolerances. The web wraps around the bottom knife and is positively supported while being slit. The bottom knife shaft can be stacked completely with knives or a combination of knives and precision spacers. Can be used with a shaft
type, top knife system (minimum slit width of 3/8″) or individual top knives (minimum slit width of 1.5″).

The web wraps a grooved roll for support and stability. Razor blades are positioned to cut the material
between lands that support the web. This system can be used with individual razor holders (minimum
slit width of 5/8″) or a razor comb (available with 1/16″, 1/32″, or 1 mm increments).
